Break bases and completely broken into unrecognizable pieces at this point and i want to point out a chopper is going overhead and that is the governor, flying over the area, getting an idea he has been up two days, looking at the damage, so widespread across the state and now is in the area, this is birdie county, where there were 11 fatalities, a rural county, mostly farmland, and around 20,000 residents and of the 45, at least, the number now, 45 fatalities across the country, 11 coming from this one county and these communities desperately hit and unfortunately, you see the loss of this small community and i m told we also have brand-new video, amateur video shot of the tornado as it was moving through the area. this was actually shot by the nephew of gene burkett who was talking a little bit earlier and gives you an idea of theize of the tornado as it moved through and people had very little warning. if there was any good news to this, it is open sky out here, ....

Purchasing them. alisyn: incredible and we had another guest on earlier who talked about how this is not tornado alley and is not common place for north carolina and is incredible, people have known what to do. tell us about the other things, people have said to you and what you have seen in touring around the state. well, in sanford, also, there was a large company, that employees 1200 people in that area and it was totally destroyed. and, it had numerous buildings, and that is the tragedy of not only the stores and the buildings destroyed, but thank goodness, it was a saturday and their employees were not there that day but, the people in this area, not only have so many lost their homes but are affected, and 26 counties in central and eastern north carolina, reported significant damage. we have 23 confirmed dead. we have 13 counties that have been declared an emergency area, i m on my way to birdie county, ....
