He lost his seat in the Toronto-area Davenport district in 2015 and failed to win the seat again in 2019. Since leaving politics, Cash co-founded the Urban Worker Project, a non-profit organization which according to its website “seeks better protection and conditions for contract, freelance and self-employed workers.”
