United Naga People’s Government (UNPG)/NNC (Parent Body) has officially declared S Kiviho Zhimomi as its president during an official declaration programme held at its central office, L-Khel Diphupar on Saturday.

United Naga People’s Government (UNPG)/NNC (Parent Body) has informed that in compliance with the directive of Working Committee of the NNPGs and subsequent resolution on May 9, 2023, the council of kilonsers at an emergency meeting held on May 10 resolved to abide by the Working Committee resolution of May 9.
Reacting to Working Committee, Naga National Political Groups (WC, NNPGs) statement on UNPG NNC (PB) leadership issue, the UNPG NNC (PB) made its position clear that it was still in “unison” with the NNPGs. However, UNPG NNC (PB) president, Z. Royim in a press release, requested the WC NNPGs to not interfere in its cabinet making as each factions have the right to operate its cabinet.
WC-NNPG has claimed that anti-Naga elements are using cash and criminal propaganda to destroy the unity and comradeship within its members.
