A Montana-grown construction business has been awarded the contract to repair the flood-damaged road through Yellowstone National Park that connects the North and Northeast entrances.
The majority of Yellowstone National Park's roadways and backcountry will be open on Wednesday. This comes after historic flooding in June damaged much of the park.
With most roads open to tourists, now most of Yellowstone National Park's backcountry is now accessible, but there are permits needed and hazards to avoid.
