Headlines for Saturday, November 5th
Fairfield's annual Veterans Day Parade will be held today beginning at 2 pm. Festivities will begin at 1 pm with a flag raising at Freedom Park. Elizabeth Gonzalez will sing the National Anthem, followed by a concert by the Roasted Chestnuts. Parade lineup starts at 1 pm at North First Street. Semi trailers will be available for veterans to ride on. Following the parade there will be meal for parade participants at the Fairfield Elks Club. The Fairfield Mules football team will play Pana at 4 p.m. today at the Trainyard in the 2nd round of the IHSA football playoffs. According to informat...
