Subtropical Storm Don is spinning in the central Atlantic about two thousand miles from the U.S mainland. Don has maximum sustained winds at 50 mph and is moving north at 6 mph. Don is no threat to land and is forecast to stay over the open waters of the Atlantic through the next several days.
Tonight, temperatures will fall into the low 80s as storms wind down.
Temperatures will heat up to the low to mid-90s this afternoon with a heat advisory in place for Collier, Hendry and Glades counties.
Aside from a stray coastal shower this morning, most of the region will stay dry with warm and muggy conditions. Temperatures are in the 70s and 80s out the door but soaring to the mid-90s this afternoon!
