Lawyers call out ACJ for failing to meet care needs of incarcerated trans man
Lawyers for a trans man incarcerated in Allegheny County Jail say their client is experiencing medical emergencies for which he has not received adequate medical attention. Expressing their concerns in a letter to the warden, the lawyers say he has developed a serious infection while at ACJ, and is being denied timely access to his physician-prescribed hormone replacement therapy.
