Wednesday, May 12, 2021 The Southwest Trap Team competed at the Paul Larson Memorial High School State Shoot in Linn Creek on April 17. More than 250 squads of trapshooters ages of 10-18 came out to compete. Southwest brought two full squads and one partial squad, with several shooting their best scores of the year. Middle schooler Bailey Stephens shot her first 25 straight. The team will be celebrating her accomplishment by shooting her hat at the next practice. Cameron is on the Merrill Bluejays Varsity Trap Team and has been on the Team since his Sophomore year in 2019 when he made 1st Team All Conference with a 23.33 average. (25.0 is a perfect score.)
