The same authority granted permission via an order on March 2 to remove 20 trees to facilitate the formation of new road, five trees for the construction of a retaining wall at the entry point of the Benniganahalli Lake bund, 42 trees for the construction of diaphragm wall for remaining portion of the lake bund and 24 trees for the structural work.
