The Delhi High Court Tuesday directed the Delhi government to conduct a fresh inspection of a site in the Tri Nagar area where residents have been seeking shifting of a liquor shop opened recently.

The Delhi High Court on Tuesday asked Delhi government to file a reply on a petition challenging the recent opening of a liquor shop in a residential area of the Tri Nagar area.

Ahead of Diwali, the Delhi Police has arrested 10 people from separate places and recovered around 700 kg illegal firecrackers from them, officials said on Tuesday.

According to the officials of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, there are more than 510 COVID-19 patients admitted in the hospital out of whom 142 patients are on high flow oxygen support.
