Kid’s Book Exchange and Open House Bring a picture book or chapter to trade. We will have lots of books to choose from. School tours available during Open House for prospective families. Science and Snacks Open House Trillium Charter School invites the public to our second annual Science and Snacks Open House, Monday, January 29 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at 1464 Spear Ave. in Arcata. Open Enrollment Trillium Charter School Trillium Charter School is enrolling for the current school year. January is a great time to start! Trillium Charter School offers both an on campus multi-grade classroom experience and a home based program. We offer free snack and lunch for all students, weekly field trips, ceramics, flexible homework, before and after school care, and small class sizes. TK/Kindergarten is capped at 10 students with a dedicated teacher. 1st-5th grades currently have fewer than 15 students per classroom. Please see our website for more information.
The Tolowa Dee-ni’ Nation will present the 16th annual Dee-ni’ Day on Sept. 9 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Howonquet Hall Community Center, 101 Indian Court in Smith River.
