Dec 22, 2020 Trinity Health has scheduled a “Stop the Bleed” training session Jan. 5 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Health Center Riverside, 1900 8th Avenue SE. Stop the Bleed is a national initiative that empowers community members to take lifesaving action if quickly needed, regardless of the situation or cause of severe bleeding. “Bleeding is the #1 cause of preventable death after an injury,” said Rhonda Gunderson, RN, BSN, Trinity Health’s Trauma Program manager. “The skill of being able to control bleeding until help arrives can save a life.” Class participants learn the basics...
