Isle of Wight Radio 6:00am - 10:00am Live and Local Podcast - Supporting Live Local Music On The Isle Of Wight Cowes RNLI Rescues Teenager With Disabilities Stranded On Gurnard Beach By Iona Stewart-Richardson Volunteers say they were called to recue a 16-year-old girl with cystic fibrosis. According to the RNLI she became ill on a secluded beach at Gurnard. After being helped on to the lifeboat she was brought to Trinity Landing where an ambulance was waiting on The Parade to take her to hospital. The lifeboat launched at 11.20 pm and returned to the station just after midnight. Share
