Erie men face trial in shooting; homicide charge dropped against one
A shooting at a west Erie house party in late September resulted in the death of one man and the wounding of another as at least four people fired gunshots inside and outside of a Walnut Street apartment house, according to testimony presented at a preliminary hearing on Thursday. Erie police initially charged two suspects with homicide in the case, but a magistrate at the hearing dismissed the homicide count against one of the two.
