Police are defending their decision not to immediately release information on a man accused of attacking a woman in a Target parking lot and killing a different woman in Detroit days later.

Andrew Hall, 31, already faces charges for allegedly assaulting a woman in a Target parking lot. He was arrested Tuesday.
Andrew James Hall, 31, stood mute in court while a not guilty plea was entered on his behalf in connection to a July 7 assault outside of a Target store in Troy.
Troy police are searching for 31-year-old Andrew James Hall in connection with the assault outside of Target. Hall is known to take a bus to Beverly Hills, Birmingham, and Troy and walk around, police said.
