Kolkata: Truck drivers in Haldia and certain areas of Khidirpore, located approximately 122 km and 8 km away, respectively, in West Bengal, have taken to the streets in protest. The drivers and truckers are expressing their discontent with the stringent 'hit-and-run' provision in the recently enacted penal law.
