Apple is actively adding newly launched and even older devices to the Self-Service Repair program. The company has also made the System Configuration process on iPhone repairs free.
Apple is also bringing support for True Depth camera and speaker repairs on the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 lineups as well as Macs with the Apple M1 chip.
Apple's Self Service Repair program was welcomed when it first launched a little over year ago, but right from the start even its fans acknowledged there was room for improvement. Having listened to customer feedback, Apple has responded accordingly, announcing an expansion of the program so that it covers a wider range of devices, and the elimination of a System Configuration process annoyance.

Apple has announced that its Self Service Repair programme is now available for the iPhone 14 lineup and additional Mac models, including the 13-inch MacBook Air and MacBook Pro powered by M2 chips.
Users now don't have to contact the programme's support team to run the final step of a repair, but the team will still be available to assist as needed.
