Following the devastating fire that engulfed MMC Shopping Complex at Mokokchung town on Saturday night, the Mokokchung Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI) has submitted a memorandum to DC Mokokchung putting forth its five-point charter of demands.
The Mopungchuket Community Tourism Society (MCTS) launched the first Ongjinaro Festival at Sungkotenem Park in Mopungchuket village, Mokokchung on Thursday.
Alleging that some cadres and functionaries of “various Naga nationalist groups” were demanding money from members of the business community at Mokokchung town, the Mokokchung Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) has directed its members not to entertain “such unwanted elements”.
