Johnson County has been designated as a “Second Amendment Preservation County” by action of the county commission during their Tuesday meeting. Chairman Bill Novotny explained that some county residents, being concerned with the current administration’s proposed attacks on citizen’s gun rights, had approached the commission about passing a Second Amendment Resolution.
