Two weeks after a tanker truck rollover on the QEW in Beamsville, environmental crews are still cleaning up the mess.
OPP say the tractor-trailer, which was carrying fuel, rolled into the ditch on South Service Road in Beamsville on Friday morning.
A fuel-truck rollover has closed the QEW in both directions between Ontario Street and Victoria Avenue, near Beamsville and Vineland Station.
“Burlington OPP investigating, avoid the area. No reports of serious injuries. Expect delays and closures to remain in place for several hours,” the OPP said in a tweet.
Ontario Provincial Police say charges have been laid in a three-vehicle collision March 30 on the Niagara bound QEW that resulted in a fatality.
