MOKOKCHUNG— A sum of INR 47,488 was detected against deceased, migrated and bogus job cards during the ‘Social Audit District Level Public Hearing’ under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS) for Mokokchung district, on Thursday. The amount recovered pertains to the first phase of the financial year 2023-2024. A resolution was passed to recover the said amount (INR 47, 488) from four villages and to submit the same to the PO, DRDA, for onward deposit to the SEGF account within seven days.
