Electricity are the ones running out of gas. in new york city up to 70% of stations cannot sell any gas. that number is 80% in new jersey. five refineries along the east coast shut down ahead of the storm. though three of the five are up and running again, the big white holding tanks all along the new jersey turnpike that have gasoline in them, they can't get that gasoline into delivery trucks as long as they don't have electrical power. the coast guard re-opened the port of new york to water traffic this afternoon. that will allow barges through and that should help ease part of the supply pa...
