Important to kids opportunities for service. my daughter had an opportunity to work as it a tutor at public school. i said you know what? our local catholic school can't afford that i wonder if you could volunteer. she started a tutoring program at the local elementary catholic school. now her siblings are a part of that program. i think we also as parents have to guide them. i don't think she could have come up with that idea herself. she was willing to serve. she needed a parent to guide her into that. ainsley: also depends on community. our church and school encourages to bring canned goods...
