bottom of the hour now. welcome back, i'm randi kaye. here are the stories we are watching. visa, mastercard and the biggest banks agreed to a historic settlement that totals $7.25 billion. it centers around credit card swipe fees. credit card companies were fixing the price of the fees. retailers will see the fees reduced temporarily. this settlement may cost you more when you swipe your credit card to pay. they will tack on a surcharge for credit card purchases. there's a but to that, too. let's bring in a lawyer for the national association of convenience stores. he's on the phone...
