Two Ministers in the Federal Executive Council on Friday expressed concern over the deleterious effects of fuel subsidy removal and floating of the Naira on the economy.

Ten MLAs belonging to the Kuki-Zomi-Hmar community in Manipur are expected to miss the August 29 assembly session due to safety concerns following ethnic violence in the region. Kipgen has requested leave from the session citing law and order issues.
