Two teenagers have been arrested on preliminary charges of first degree murder in connection with the death.
The 15-year-old was killed “for no apparent reason,” police say.
“I am at a loss for words with regard to this incident," the Decatur police chief said. "A teenager was brutally murdered by other teenagers, for no apparent reason."
