In March this year, the Achimota School told the two students they would only be allowed at the school if they cut their locks. The two students, Tyrone Iras Marghuy and Oheneba Kwaku Nkrabea, took action against the school through their parents. The Voice has been told the case was bought to the Human Rights Division of the Accra High Court, after the parents and other members of the Rastafari community in Ghana got together to take action collectively.
