As strong as first thought. the labor department says employers added half a million fewer jobs than previously reported in 2018 and early in 2019. the largest revision since the end of the recession in 2009. the revision is preliminary as the bureau of labor statistics aligns its estimates of the number of jobs created with more definitive data from the state unemployment insurance tax records which nearly all employers are required to file. so we take it from a sample set into ultimate real data. the final update which will include the rest of this year is going to be released in february of...
