Umar Khalid, a former JNU student accused in the 2020 Delhi riots case, faces intensified scrutiny as Delhi Police revealed his alleged manipulation of social media and connections with celebrities, amidst arguments opposing his bail request in court. Police said Umar Khalid supposedly sent web links from certain news websites to these people, asking them to share the information on their social media accounts.
