The Nasarawa State Police Command says it has received uniforms and other materials from the proscribed Kungiyar Zaman Lafia Nomad Vigilante group.   The state police public relations officer, DSP Ramhan Nansel, disclosed this in a statement on Sunday in Lafia, the state capital.   According to the police spokesman, the group complied with Executive Order 1, 2024, on the proscription of ethnic vigilance groups and similar organisations.

The Nasarawa State Police Command has arrested no fewer than 109 suspected illegal miners operating in the Nasarawa Eggon Local Government Area of the state.
