The Indian Express, as part of its investigative series 'Death By Breath' which highlights pollution woes in Mumbai, on October 25, had reported how not a single person had been penalised for burning garbage in the open in 17 years.

According to the police, two men reached near Gateway of India in the early hours after which they dumped a large amount of garbage into the sea and escaped in a taxi.

This high-profile school has been raising the issue of the pile of garbage for almost a year now.
