IPOB Says No Sit-At-Home In Southeast Nigeria On Tuesday For Detained Nnamdi Kanu

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has again distanced itself from the sit-at-home directive aimed at grounding activities in Southeast Nigeria on Tuesday, October 4. The detained leader of the separatist group, Nnamdi Kanu on Saturday told his supporters not to enforce any sit-at-home order on October 4. A Federal High Court sitting in Umuahia is expected to deliver a ruling on jurisdictional issues raised suo motu by the Court in a fundamental rights enforcement suit filed by Kanu against the Nigerian Government.
