Ashok Leyland builds Light Bullet Proof Vehicles to Air Force
The LBPV is an adopted version of Lockheed Martinâs Common Vehicle Next Gen and has been developed under Transfer of Technology to Ashok Leyland. The vehicle is well protected from both ballistic & blast threats and can launch attacks. Ashok Leyland has delivered the first of its kind âLight Bullet Proof Vehiclesâ (LBPV) to the Indian Air force. The first lot of these vehicles were delivered on April 13, 2021.
