Instagram and Facebook are making it tougher for strangers to message teens |
Meta, the parent company of Instagram and Facebook, is announcing stricter message settings to protect minors on two of its platforms. Underaged users who are below 16 (or 18 in some regions) will no longer receive messages from strangers or be added to group chats by default on Instagram and Facebook.
