This is a unique leadership opportunity. Together with the Legal Services Council, the Commissioner oversees the implementation of the Legal Profession Uniform Law scheme, the regulatory framework for Australian legal practitioners. The scheme has applied to legal practitioners in NSW and Victoria since 1 July 2015.
The Commissioner for Uniform Legal Services Regulation is a key leadership position that is pivotal to supporting the regulation of the legal profession in New South Wales and Victoria.
