Congress leader Jairam Ramesh questioned why the BJP's MP representing the Manipur Inner constituency, Rajkumar Ranjan Singh, has not been allowed to speak in Parliament during the no-confidence motion. While many ministers, including Amit Shah, Smriti Irani and Kiren Rijiju, have spoken during the debate, Singh, whose private residence was burnt down, has not been given a chance to speak.
