According to the draft papers, NSDL's proposed IPO is a complete offer-for-sale of more than 5.72 crore equity shares by existing shareholders

Capital markets regulator SEBI has put the proposed initial share sale of securities depository NSDL in abeyance. NSDL filed its preliminary papers with SEBI on July 7. The proposed IPO is a complete offer-for-sale of more than 5.72 crore equity shares by existing shareholders. Shares of the company are proposed to be listed on BSE. As of financial year 2023, NSDL's revenue was Rs 1,099.81 crore and its net profit was Rs 234.81 crore.

Capital markets regulator Sebi has kept in 'abeyance' the proposed initial share sale of securities depository NSDL. However, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) did not clarify further. The National Securities Depository Ltd (NSDL) filed its preliminary papers with the capital markets regulator on July 7.

Plans were launched last month to turn the premises, which currently holds Everlast Gym, into an entertainment centre.
