OPINION: Corruption's Chokehold: Rebuilding South Africa's Stolen Dreams - United Democratic Movement

As we stand on the precipice of a daunting future, the United Democratic Movement (UDM) mourns the tragic collapse of the South African state, a self-inflicted wound borne out of unchecked corruption. Our nation, once the beacon of hope and resilience, is now grappling with the daunting reality of crumbling state-owned entities, soaring unemployment, deepening poverty, and a stagnating economy. It is a crisis that demands our attention and our resolve.

As we honour teachers, some act disgracefully through sexual assault

5 October, World Teachers' Day, is a wonderful opportunity for South Africans to celebrate the important role that teachers play in our children’s lives and to reflect on the challenges faced by these professionals.
