View Comments An investigation has been launched into the cause of two fires that destroyed an Adams County house within 24 hours, officials said. The first fire broke out around 5:30 a.m. Monday at a home in the 1100 block of Beaver Run Road in Straban Township, according to United Hook & Ladder Chief Steve Rabine. Firefighters knocked down the fire, which was pushing from the house's windows, in about 15 minutes.
