UET students pledge solidarity with Kashmiris
Contests held to highlight plight of people through creative expression

LAHORE:
The Literary, Dramatics and Debating societies of University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore organised an event on Friday titled ‘Sada-e-Kashmir (Voice of Kashmir)’ to express solidarity with Kashmiris suffering at the hands of Indian military in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
The event was attended by a large number of UET students while observing Covid-19 precautionary measures.
Sada-e-Kashmir was comprised of various modules including English and Urdu poetry, essay writing and declamation contests.
On the occasion, a Kashmiri student sang a song to the audience on the plight of the IIOJK populace while a stage drama was also presented before the audience titled ‘Curfew’. ....
