ASBURY PARK – The Asbury Park School District received a gift of 10 evergreen trees last week. “Tree planting helps to keep the community vibrant and make it a greener, healthier and more sustainable environment for all,” Superintendent Sancha K. Gray said. “The goal is to restore, recycle and fund nature for future generations.” The trees were donated by Asbury Park Toy Drive and Madison Marquette, both of whom have been longtime supporters of the school district.
