Lundin Energy had no luck with wildcat well drilling near the Ormen Lange field in the Norwegian Sea.
Lundin Energy, operator of PL 886, is in the process of concluding the drilling of wildcat well 6306/9-1. The well, which was drilled about 72 km east of the Ormen Lange field in the Norwegian Sea, is dry, with no traces of petroleum, and will be permanently plugged and abandoned.
