COVID: Upper Thumb sees 10 deaths, 71 cases on daily update FacebookTwitterEmail UPPER THUMB — Following improved statistics the day prior, the Upper Thumb saw its new coronavirus deaths jump by 10 and its new cases increase by 71 Dec. 17. According to the state, Huron County saw an increase of five COVID deaths and 24 cases, bringing the county total to 1,181 confirmed cases and 33 deaths.
