FMCG major Britannia Industries has raised concerns over clear signs of a slowdown in the rural economy, said the company in the concall. On Wednesday, the company posted a 19% year-on-year (YoY) growth in consolidated net profit for the quarter ended September to Rs 588 crore. The numbers surpassed expectations of ET Now which predicted Rs 533 crore.
