Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Government on Wednesday announced ex-gratia relief to the next-of-kins of the deceased and for the treatment of those injured in the fatal accident.
After getting information about the movement of some suspects in the Manjakot area of Rajouri district, forces started a search operation and recovered IEDs from a forest area.
Read Latest Agency News Quickly Here | "A terrorist module has been busted in Uri Baramulla, and 3 terrorist associates of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) outfit have been arrested. Arms and ammunition were recovered from them, and a case under UA(P) Act & Arms Act registered," said the police.
As per official accounts, the arrested Terrorists have been implicated in smuggling arms and ammunition across the border under the directives of Pakistan-based terror handlers.
Their questioning led to their discovery of two Grenades, one Chinese Pistol, one Pistol Magazine and four live rounds from them, the police added.
