HOUGHTON COUNTY, MI--   An Ohio snowmobiler was killed when he drove in front of a vehicle in Houghton County Friday.  Sheriff’s deputies responded around 3:45 p.m. to US-41 and Trail #17 north of Calumet. They say a snowmobile driven by a 49-year-old man from Ohio crossed into the path of a southbound vehicle driven by a 33-year-old Ahmeek woman. The snowmobile driver was taken to Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital but died of his injuries. Speed is believed to be a factor in the accident, which remains under investigation. Tags:
