Despite a terribly challenging economic year, despite the pandemic, Strathcona County has managed to stay in the black.
Even with the cancellation of a tax increase, tax deferrals, and millions in lost revenue for recreational, cultural programs and transit, Strathcona County ended 2020 with a draft surplus of $3 million.
