Those who have been hit hard by the pandemic in Forsyth County may be eligible for some relief. Renters that can prove income loss due to COVID-19 can apply for short-term assistance through the newly created Forsyth County Rent and Utility Relief Program. Thanks to a grant from the U.S. Department of Treasure, Forsyth County will be able to provide rent and utility assistance for qualifying households, beginning Monday, March 8.
