Uttarkashi Tunnel rescue: Steel structure obstructing free movement of pipe removed: Former PMO advisor on Uttarkashi Tunnel rescue
Rescue efforts for 41 trapped workers in the Silkyara tunnel progressed as the steel obstruction hindering pipe movement was cleared. Bhaskar Khulbe, overseeing the operation, reported the removal, aiming to advance 6 meters beyond the 45-meter mark. Welding experts arrived for the rescue, welding mild steel pipes for the trapped workers to crawl through. With CM Pushkar Singh Dhami present, the state officials anticipate the final stage of the rescue today in Uttarkashi.
