The Edwards Aquifer Authority issued a Stage 4 critical period management permit reduction for permit holders in Uvalde County, according to a Friday release.
The Edwards Aquifer Authority, a regional water agency that regulates the use of the groundwater system, declared Stage 3 water permit reductions June 26 for both San Antonio and Uvalde pools.
Residents may see flash flooding this week. At least three to five inches of rain is expected to fall by the end of the week, according to the National Weather Service.
